Moscow will be hosting the biggest yet street art event for Russia – Biennale Artmossphere that will bring together over 30 artists from all over the world and over 40 Russian participants.

Among the invitees – Sixe, who was at the grass roots of Barcelona street art in the 80-s and painted the façade of Tate Modern in 2008; American artist Momo, whom New York DOT commissioned a 60 meter mural between the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges, Kandinsky Prize nominee Misha Most.The project that will take place at Artplay design center, as well as various venues throughout thee city, is backed by the Department of Culture and its Public Projects Agency.Momo (USA), Sat One (Germany), Elian (Argentina), Hyuro (Spain), Nicolas Barrome (France) will paint the walls in different street locations along with Erosie (Netherlands), who will collaborate on his mural with local kids. Spanish artist Okuda will install а 4-meter sculpture at Muzeon Art Park.Group and solo shows as well as lectures and workshops will take place within the main and parallel programs of the biennale. 12 speakers, including Living Walls festival curator Monica Campana, vice president of Urban Forms Foundation Teresa Latuszewska-Syrda and the curator of MMOMA exhibition “Pasha 183” Polina Borisova will be sharing their knowledge in the grand hall of Artplay design center.
In addition to murals and public art objects, the show will be honored with the retrospective of American photojournalist Martha Cooper devoted to the history of graffiti and street culture.
